The food was great and the prices were comparable to other locations that are Hispanic. The wait was longer than would be expected. And the service was slow. The lunch menu is on one wall and the dinner menu on another one which I found confusing before ordering. I was ordering the special for Friday off the lunch menu and I was told that price was only good for lunch not dinner. Would I be back? Maybe.

Hit and miss here..... The tacos are always good, but the service can really be missing sometimes, and pretty sure I got intentionally over charged once so someone could pocket some extra cash. I mean, she couldn't produce a receipt, couldn't explain the charges, etc. I would have made a big deal of this but was entertaining guests from out of the country and that was the last thing I wanted to do was make a deal of a few dollars. Some nights the service is great with quick food, friendly wait staff, quick drink and chip refills.... Other nights it's no chips at all, spend the night looking at the bottom of your cup, slow service. Prices are good though and it's a fun place to visit. Just wish the service was more consistent.

Edible but not authentic

I haven't been here in a few years but they are still very friendly and the food is still good. They made some minor changes that I don't like quite as much but it's still great!

Long wait. Under staffed. No forks. No napkin. Tried to see good, too loud. Country music?

I thought the food was good but not great. I agree with some other reviews that the service wasn’t the best. I had the carnitas and they were ok but I have had carnitas with more flavor. They were also a little dry. I also felt like they were a little stingy on the chips. I really liked the salsa. I would come back again but I think I would get a different entree.

Food was delicious! Will definitely eat here next time I'm passing through Heber!! Staff was very friendly and service was good.

I love the food but I'll only give them a 4 because the day I first visited the place it was not that busy and the floor was dirty and most of the tables still had the dishes left by people with leftovers on it. I literally had to pull a table and a chair and make my own spot to eat. Again the food was good but please work little bit more on the cleaning of the place.

Most authentic Mexican food in the Valley!

A must stop in Heber! About the same dishes you'd be happy to find in an authentic Mexican food place in Utah but the small cozy restaurant appeals greatly. Food arrives fast, the homemade salsas will take your breath away. Easy to find in Heber, highly recommend!

Fine food. Nothing special. Not worth the price in my opinion

I wasn't impressed at all with the food.

Server was super brusque and inflexible, but food was pretty good. Carnitas plate was the best dish the four of us ordered.

I gave it a 5 star only because there are not 1/2 stars. The food was really good at a reasonable price. My only complaint, hence the 1/2 star deduction is the chips and salsa. They were kind of bland. It was busy being Labor Day but the staff was really friendly despite having to work so hard. The bus boy was just that, a boy. That dude was hustling and he even brought me a refill on my Sprite. I will come here again. Really a great hole in the wall.

Chile relleno was great. Shedded chimi not what I expected. Overall good good for a good price. Be sure to order at the counter for faster service.

Food was good and especially their Horchata was fantastic. The kid with the wrapped hand at the front was super friendly. Made our experience great we will definitely be back!

Won't be back. Food was okay. I wanted a shrimp burrito. Funny enough, they refused to make it. Though they serve burritos AND Shrimp. My and husbands stomach didn't sit right. Chips were old and stale. Could have had better from the grocery store. VERY disappointed.

The food was very good. Never been here before. I usually have three check boxes for Mexican restaurants. 1. Are the chips and salsa good? Check. 2. Is the Horchata good? Check. 3. Are the rice and beans legit? Check. All in all a great place to get food at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out if you need a quick bite.

I really like the enchiladas here, and I also like how it's family-run restaurant and the service is good. The only problem is that it's not super clean in there. sometimes there is still crumbs and sauce on the table when they tell us to sit down. But overall great Mexican restaurant.

I've eaten here weekly for multiple winter seasons. The staff is amongst the friendliest I've encountered. I eat Mexican food often in Heber and Vail, ordering different items from each place. Tony's has the best Carne Asada Burritos and El Pastor Tacos in the area and a friendly local atmosphere.

Always delicious. I love their super nachos. I get that for my meal instead of an appetizer every time. They have good salsa too.

Tasty with a nice Thursday taco plate special. The meat could have used a tad more seasoning all on its own, but still good. The refried beans and rice were great! They have a convenient pickup window set up for covid and places to sit outside. The employees were nice!

Closing 45 minutes before close. Stale cold chips. Tough to serve up to par of you are spending more time closing than serving. Cashier was over it.

Because of the positive reviews I was looking forward to this restaurant.I ordered a Chili Relleno and on my second bite realized that I had a sharp wooden skewer in my mouth. Glad I didn't choke on it. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

the food is great but the person who took my order didn’t know how to swipe the gift card it took him 10 minutes and ended up asking me if i had a debit card. when i got my food the beans and rice were all over the bag. overall the food is great but the customer service is horrible!

This place was so yummy and a great deal!🌮🌮🌮 Perfect place for your Mexican food craving, everything tasted fresh and delicious. The Tony's Taco dish was perfect, they made mine American style with lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes and cheese. The Horchata is so good! Lots of cinnamon 🥛😊

They were a little slow and did not take our order for a hot second but as soon as we got that out of the way we had a wonderful meal and we liked the food. We may stop by again on the trip up!
